About Bob Ingersoll

 

Bob Ingersoll was honorably discharged in 1977 after serving six years during the Viet Nam era, with the 382d Military Police Detachment, United States Army Reserve. Thereafter he began a successful career in civilian Law Enforcement resulting in over 20 years of hands-on experience in the areas of professional law enforcement, Tactical Training and Loss Prevention. Mr. Ingersoll’s prior assignments have included Patrol, Field Training, Investigator, Narcotics Investigator, Emergency Response Team Supervisor, and Rangemaster.  Currently retired from the Seaside Police Department in California, Mr. Ingersoll today provides high-profile security force training to the US Government as a federal contractor and holds a degree in Administrative Justice.

Additionally, Mr. Ingersoll is a California State Registered Private Investigator and Security Consultant. He has investigated both criminal and non-criminal cases to include, employee theft, insurance fraud, and pre-employment background investigations.  He is the Founder and Director of Combative Arts Association and currently holds the rank of 6th Degree Black Belt in Hapkido. He is a certified firearms and defensive tactics instructor.


In March 2005, Ingersoll returned to the law enforcement community as a Police Reserve for the City of Del Rey Oaks, CA PD.  His assignments include defensive tactics instructor, Investigations, and a member of the Special Response Team (SRT).
