OSG January 2012 Newsletter

The economy has affected all of us in one way or another, and through hard work and careful planning, OSG will continue to offer and deliver the  highest quality training courses available.  We are fortunate to have some of the best Instructors and Subject Matter Experts in the industry who share the same goals that has always set OSG apart from the others.

As CEO, I want to express my sincere thanks to all of you who have supported OSG in the past years, and hope that you will continue to support us in our efforts to ensure that the men and women who protect this great country will be afforded the opportunity to receive the best training available.

In the coming months, OSG will be promoting several new and exciting courses.  We are in the process of offering an Active Shooter Response Course, Personal Protective Measures Course, Pre-Deployment Tactics Course, and a Personal Security Detail Course.  OSG recently received course certification from CA POST for our Active Shooter Response, Protective Security Detail and Defensive Tactics / Close Quarters Survival Course AKA:Contact Weapon Defense.

We are also researching and developing a specialized officer safety / survival course for law enforcement officers working in an undercover (UC) assignment.

As always, we look forward to hearing from you and welcome your comments and suggestions. As President of Operational Skills Group, LLC, I am fully committed to keeping our company on the cutting edge of specialized training and providing the best training possible.

What's News

Chief Executive Officer
2012 will be a busy and challenging year, not just for OSG, but also many of those in the private training and contracting business.  Many Law Enforcement agencies across the United States are in a budget crisis and facing massive layoffs and cuts to both their equipment and training budgets.  OSG will continue to provide the best possible training for our law enforcement personnel by keeping the course fees at an affordable level.  We encourage all law enforcement agencies, not just in California, but across the nation to explore the excellent training opportunities that are offered by some excellent, professional and committed training companies.  We are in this together and no one company can do it all!  OSG is also committed to providing training for our armed forces personnel.  They too are faced with the constant threat of budget cuts like we experienced in mid-April.

Mr. Ingersoll's philosophy is exactly in step with the OSG mission statement “To Create and Sustain Operational Readiness” by what he calls his “green with green and blue with blue” philosophy. In a nutshell, it’s important to maintain the quality and integrity of instruction especially with regards to our high-profile clientele who expect nothing but the very best. One defining factor is that former military professionals instruct current military professionals, former law-enforcement professionals instruct current law enforcement professionals and former federal agents instruct current federal agents. “We will continue to support our mission with the highest level of instruction available.”
